Deep tissue massage…

I had a deep tissue massage earlier this week by a lovely lady, Sophie… and I must say, it is one of the best massages I’ve had. Sophie was welcoming and put up with my little rant, genuinely empathising with me!

I’ve been feeling tense for a while which has caused aches and pains in my head, back and shoulders and I generally find it hard to relax. Sophie started off gentle to warm up my back muscles and later applied a lot of pressure to them which helped release all the tension. She moved on to my shoulders, and to finish , she gave me a head massage and hit the pressure points which felt great. I felt so relaxed and happy by the end of it… I wanted to fall asleep!

It did hurt a little the day after – it is a deep tissue massage after all, but it gets better. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone who has been feeling a lot of tension in their back… it’s worth every penny. I know I will be visiting again soon, it’s just a matter of when!

I treated myself…

I treated myself on my birthday to a dazzling pedicure by Abi there (plus the other amazing staff there, by their genuine friendliness – also a decent coffee, too). Don’t know why I never had one before, amazing colour and finish which lasted actually longer than I had expected! I probably was annoying in that I didn’t want to leave because I was so relaxed 😂 but there were other clients, so I had to make my chilled out way and enjoy my toes to myself 😍😊

Waxing

Debbie has done 2 amazing massages on my back. I’m booking one a month from now on when she does my facial waxing. Literally the best massage I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had a lot! Thank you!

I have been having Gel nails once a month for the last few years at first with different girls until Raechel got stuck with me! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for anything unless I had to. All the girls are awesome!

Aroma therapy massage

Had the best massage with Abi this afternoon. She really knows her stuff, answered all my question. Really worked on my tense neck/shoulders and tight muscles in my lower legs. Came home so relaxed had to have a nap. Can’t wait for the next one

My home from home for relaxation

The retreat is a welcoming and relaxing place to go and the staff are so friendly. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my treatments.
